I just fired a guy for showing up 2 hours late on his 2nd day. character leems lacking, but one thing people have to is a lot of nerve.
I’ve always maintained that showing up late is a lack of respect. I make double effort to always show up on time. I’ve held meetings where invitees have shown up late for no good reason. When asked why late, and if the reason is not something out of their control, I cancel the meeting and ask them to reschedule.
