By vote and feedback from some players, the payout structure has been adjusted in the following manner, taking effect 💥 this epoch! 💥

Epoch payout: 95% of in-game payments, divided between all players according to their block count.

Pool fee*: 5% of in-game payments

*The pool fee will be retained by Minestr to help cover costs.

We decided that to help grow the user base in this early stage, we need to incentivise participation as much as possible. So we will forego the donations to OpenSats for now, and put it almost all towards the player payout. Once we have built up the player base and the epoch payouts have reached a substantial amount, the OpenSats donation will be reconsidered 💚 Also, previously the winner received a fixed large percentage of the pot, compared to the other places. This has been revised, so now every player receives a reward based on their block count. This should help incentivise lower ranked players to also fight it out to get more #sats.
