That still is better than giving power to intoucheables. Just giving power to them, what emglish wanted to do is enslaving India just like China, through infecting it with socialism/democracy/rule of idiots. If you want to make life better and fairer for untouchables, help them become smarter and steonger, but leave it to them to decide what and how they will do with that smartness and strength. It might end up improving high castes and keeping them in power and applying finaly fair treatment to other casts. You do not prescribe and do not encourage and do not push the end result. You help improve those who want to improve. That is it. You do not defend the weak and dumb. It is their fault that they are such. Not a fault of higher casts nor anyone else.
