@shouldbuybtc @CoinCornerMolly That's entirely centralized, though. There has to be a bar tender debiting your tab and crediting mine, and has absolutely no use to pay anyone who doesn't have a tab with the bar.

@shouldbuybtc @CoinCornerMolly Lightning, by contrast, allows you to pay someone who has no channel directly with you, nor a channel with anyone you have a channel opened with, by routing the payment through multiple hops in a way that no centralized coordinator/bartender is needed.
