It blows my mind to know that Henry Ford wrote an article in 1921 proposing a system of "energy currency" that would be backed by electricity rather than gold. He believed that electricity was a more stable and reliable form of value, and had the potential to discourage wars. I wonder if Peter Schiff knows that.
