Hey 🎨art lover, if you feel stuck in your artistic process feel free to follow some of these tips that have helped me:

1. If you feel stuck, try painting something completely different or experiment with new materials. Watercolors, acrylics, oils, or mixed media can provide fresh inspiration.

2. Try painting with your non-dominant hand, use colors you usually avoid, or work on unusual formats (huge canvases or tiny sketches). This can spark curiosity.

3. Look at works by artists you admire, visit exhibitions, take a walk in nature, or observe everyday details. Art is born from experience and observation.

4. Paint without focusing on the final result. Do quick sketches, abstracts, or experimental pieces without judging yourself. The freedom to create without expectations can reignite your passion.

5. Participate in artist groups, workshops, or online art challenges. Sharing your process with others can provide motivation and new ideas.

6. Write or reflect on what initially inspired you. Was it self-expression? Storytelling? Rediscovering your original motivation can bring back your energy.

7. Even if you don’t feel like painting, sit down and do a small exercise every day. Sometimes inspiration comes while you work.

8. Don’t force yourself too much. If needed, take a break without guilt, but remain open to new visual experiences.

Enjoy and good #art 🙏🫂🎨💜

Sometimes I brush my teeth with my opposite hand

In my latest painting I did almost everything with my non-dominant hand, which is my left.

I've done everything except point no. 2 and 6...

I've been painting since I was 5yo so I don't recall my inspiration at the time. I think the childlike creative within never grew up.

But I'm going to try the left handed approach and see what happens.
