Opsec question for those of you who are more knowledgable than me:

I want to spread my long term stash into more than one wallet. I want to set up a Jade in airgap mode, also stateless mode, using QR. But i dont want to have to store and protect the paper QR after setup. I dont plan to use this btc for a long time. Can i just destroy the paper QR after setup with Sparrow or Nunchuk? I want to simplify and just store a metal backup. I know i can always manually input my seed phrase in Jade if needed. Will this be a problem for just receiving into that wallet, or do i absolutely need to store the paper QR?

The paper QR is just another representation of your seed. As long as you have copies, no

Semisol nailed it.

Also, if you want each deposit to go a different address but associated with the same seed phrase, you can export your xpub and import it as a watch only wallet.

I'm not familiar with how to do this with Jade, but I've done it with a nostr:nprofile1qqs09jtvjlmyrxjn37zv70a89csegcz7rpyqjmnw29cveedhv7vagqqppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0pyt0kr and imported it into BlueWallet. Each time you hit receive in BlueWallet it'll be a fresh address (note: it'll be the same address if nothing was received yet).

Thank you, i'll think on that.
