I would have grabbed it closer to 60k earlier today but I'm not allowed to hold a position through market close, so I longed that shit from 64k as soon as globex opened this afternoon. I was pretty confident at that point that the dump was over and done with and it would rally tonight.
What do you mean you are not allowed?
I'm trading with a prop firm. They have rules, one of which is you can't hold a position through settlement. CME requires a lot more margin to hold futures contracts through settlement.
The upside is I'm not risking losing my own money. I've earned and lost funding with these guys 5 times in the last 3 years. I always traded S&P futures before. This is my first time messing with Bitcoin futures but it's actually a lot easier to trade.
