Yeah I was lucky it was all in different plastic bags, that helped a bit, but also was a lot of ice that createad a mixed not identified soap of fish and meat, I discovered later also some cheese.. 🥲

I've wondered if in these situations whether it's better to turn the freezer back on to freeze that mess again first.

Yeah I just double checked my 2 big freezers are running 😂

Would be devastated if I lost one.

It would be cool to have a little device that plugs in between the wall & the freezer that beeps when it loses power.

I was thinking much simpler just to detect current moving.

Just to stop accidental unplugging events.

That thing costs more than my freezer did 😂
