The idea was to make it impossible for the addict to read/write. An addict, if he knows that he just has to change the checkbox, changes the checkbox and goes back to the addiction. Maybe the idea is absurd !

I dunno, seems very odd. It’s like visiting a casino and asking for a clock on the wall. Just don’t step into the casino 🤷‍♂️

We can add other mechanisms that do a better job anyway (or so I think)

Yes, it's a bit strange. A person diagnosed with addiction cannot simply not enter the casino. Here in Portugal, it is possible to do this in relation to gambling, and casinos are required to not allow entry. Someone who is not addicted does not fully understand this situation.
