But really you would perhaps need people to join in groups, like from a forum. And even then it's hard work. There was a huge influx when Matt Taibbi joined here briefly, and he brought a load of his followers. They pretty much all left. I don't think they found m/any other topics to engage with.

That was a while ago, it has improved ever so slightly then. But this still a one topic forum, really.

As the network grows there would need to be some automatic delegation of power aside from just you making your own list of people whose tags to trust.

At nostr's current size, a coupe dozen highly active users could tag most of the stuff as soon as it hits trending feeds or gets posted by a popular npub. And you could accrue a list of more than a couple dozen highly active users to trust tags from. And people who join later can use your list, and add to it, and then it starts getting big enough to need tools for managing that 🤙
