On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress officially adopted the Declaration of Independence.

Today The Creative Party of America gives us the Declaration of Independence in a modern creative context, with the advantage of two-hundred and fifty years of successful and failed experimentation with our government. Wherever possible we have kept and/or used the original words of Jefferson. Any individual or group of people, no matter how small, who choose to live by the creative agreements in this Second Declaration of Independence, are creating and are citizens of the Ethical State we are coming together to create.
