Funny enough, the idea that you can see your posts and notifications in two very different apps is not natural to a non-tech user. Most people think whatever they do in an app stays in that app. A Vegas trap if you will.

Funny enough, the apps also have different behaviour or patterns to the same backbone. The wider the gap is, the more difficult it is for non-tech users to understand it.

Then consider that you can store YOUR posts on YOUR own relay and keep YOUR keys for YOUR profile on YOUR own wallet.
You own your own identity again!
The biggest hurdle nostr faces is you don't login with an email and set a password. Explaining key pairs to normal people will always be required no matter what solutions we come up with. Key pairs are fundamentally different from how everyone has used any app since forever (except Bitcoin of course) Teaching everyone an entirely new way will take quite some time.
