I used to feel the same way but they do offer programs to help so go see if you qualify if that’s the issue. Keep in mind it’s a huge conference and the liability insurance alone for slip and falls etc must take a lot of the cost. Between that and the Thank God for Bitcoin conference it’s a chunk of sats but worth it, IMO
