You need to open up a channel. It does cost some sats and there is no way to zap yet, but I can send sats to the reusable payment code once it's set up.

My theory is: It will be easier for non-technical people to create a bolt address than a lightning address. We should have a Bolt12 NIP. By the way, I don't think that exists yet.

I still think it's the easiest way to set up a lightning node. If we could use bolt12 for zaps, we wouldn't need a lightning address. Our npubs would be enough.
