It achieves this thanks to its captcha or flip system. It is the only interesting project in this ecosystem.
The launch of the #Worldcoin #crypto caught #Vitalik’s eye (no pun intended) who wrote an in-depth article about the pros and cons of this #ProofOfPersonhood protocol. For many reasons, I’m not a fan of Worldcoin but I think that Proof-of-Personhood protocols have the potential to be a tool that can bring profound and positive societal changes for the #plebs. That said there are a few characteristics these protocols should fulfill to not turn into enablers of dystopian systems. One of them is to allow individuals to ditch their #DigitalID for new ones (although they must be prevented from maintaining several valid IDs). Also, newly generated IDs must not be linkable to previous generated IDs. #Idena is one PoP #blockchain that seems to meet these criteria.
