After curing for about 1.5 months, the recycled olive oil soap is ready to use. Ended up with a bit over 1.8Kg of soap bars, plus a bit over 400g of of scratchings for the washing machine. These will last a long, long time.

Really easy to make. You only need used cooking oil, caustic soda (can use ashes if you don't have access to pure soda) and water.

Thanks! Sounds awesome. My wife has tried making homemade liquid soaps/detergent but not bar soap.
