A strange thing I’ve noticed when discussing Bitcoin with family and friends. Each will say to be careful, it’s all a scam and ponzi, no value or use etc etc.

My grandmother told me to be careful, don’t get involved with anything bad.

Funny enough I find the energy is the exact opposite. In my view Bitcoin attracts those with ethics and morals that hope for order in a disordered world. It is the very antithesis of what my family and friends warn against.

If only I could make them see what I see, there would be a lot more orange in my life!

Tick Tock, Next Block.

They will learn eventually. Just keep stacking and stick to the ethos.

(This is what I tell myself)

Once people see fiat money is the source of corruptions, they can look elsewhere and find sound money = Bitcoin 🙂 The time will come soon.

Exactly how I’ve felt with my family. They just don’t want to talk about it or anything related to it

I partially agree with you. Yes, ppl who understand Bitcoin’s philosophy are like you just described. Yet, some douchebags tries to exploit newcomers’ naive expectations about this world. In my home country, Turkey, many ppl suffered for scammers– especially they scammed by founder of stock market, like happened US with FTX.

We have to be super careful to eliminate these ideas.

Sorry for delayed response, but good point! There are a lot of people who will ride the coattails to bitcoin and try to scam people too! Best to root out the scam artists!
