KeePass is a great password manager. I've used it for nearly two decades. It may not have all of the bells and whistles as some modern implementations, but it's time tested and it works well.

Can it be self-hosted like vaultwarden?
It's not like Vaultwarden, but sure. You can host the database file wherever you want.
Iβve used the same for almost as long. Just works. ππΌ
Itβs a simple database file you store locally so you are self-hosting by default.
You can synchronize the file between devices with your Nextcloud or syncthing. Keep in mind that you need to keep backups of that file!
Same here, no frills, does what it needs to do, FOSS and reliable as all hell
I heard of keepass when I moved away from 1password.
I finally settled with Bitwarden though, mainly due to an accessible price and all the features I need.
I recently switched password manager due to lastpass having too many exploits for my liking. I chose bitwarden, it's not too expensive, but for me it was great that it had an android app that supports yubikey. I've never looked back.
Also I think people will start to look at Proton Pass too, password manager released by the ProtonMail team, they're building quite the ecosystem.
Agreed. My number 1 PW manager. Bitwarden works well, too. I've been using it at work.
