And 1000 years ago it was 0 because the term wasn't invented. Mental illness is subjective and this statistic is not worth taking seriously. Maybe there is a problem, but this is certainly not how we might know it.

But something has changed drastically, its in plain sight and easy to see we have a problem, it has little or nothing to do with improved recognition or diagnosis.

Its also not a massive leap to believe that possible food and drugs and other toxins of modern life are responsible.

I'm irritated. It feels like you are putting words in my mouth. Can you clarify whether I said something that you disagree with?

You are being ignorant in public.

RFK is about to expose it all.

Who or what is RFK? Are you able to articulate the thing you believe I'm ignorant of?

If you do not know who RFK is, you have bigger issues then i have time for.

Ok Froggy, if you say so.

Yes, i read your comment as suggesting that the statistic was pointless, which i know most statistics are. But as i said there is a problem, that is plain to see. I also felt your comment was not supportive of RFK's position, he is the guy that repeats this statistic often, and i wanted to show my opposition to that.

I didn't want to irritate you.

I think RFK should choose something different to repeat. It's very clear to me that this statistic has nothing to do with why you or anyone else thinks there is a problem, and focusing your attention away from these reasons just undermines RFK's argument.
