Being able to get zapped using a non-custodial wallet (just using your own LN node, i.e. not Wallet of Satoshi, etc).
Non-custodial zaps requires running a LN node, is that right? Which node and wallet software would you recommend?
Depends on how deep (technically) are you willing to go.
I initially followed the raspibolt.org guide (with my own adaptations) which uses lnd and you can pair with a mobile wallet like Zeus or a webapp like RideTheLightning or you can even use it with the alby browser extension.
To get the zaps, it requires running experimental code, check #[3]

I maintain my own stack but btcpay server looks cool too. You can connect a node to Zeus over tor with some effort and it’s super cool. Thunderhub is a good ui and lndg can automate fee adjustments and rebalancing.
