they always make dramas.

day ruiner as usual.

I saw how the #Bluesky people treated you there. Go figure their miserable selves feed off further negative energy...

I think they’re upset bluesky didn’t just implement ActivityPub, and some are jealous of Bluesky’s success. But bluesky, and nostr too exisr because ActivityPub has some fundamental limitations.

I also think there’s a lot of tribal identity stuff going on right now with all of these new platforms/protocols.

I’ll always remember Eugen Rochko laughing it up on a podcast about how much better Mastodon was than Bluesky and Nostr.

Good times.

You have to assume there's so little going on over there that they need some way to entertain themselves.

😃👍

I don’t know what citrus.farm is (so I could be wrong) but… that’s like saying ”Nostr hates Mastodon” cause one relay blocks mostr.pub…

Think it’s stupid to block people because of their protocol choice (they’re prob protocolist) half the whole point of all these decentralized social networks is to be able to control what you see and where your data goes.

Side note: you can measure the health of a community by how they react to competitors

Might be a generational thing where the old OG Internet folks took it for granted that once you put something on the Internet it’s public and the Internet never forgets. The assumption is that the Internet is open and the protocols work that way.

The web 2.0 etc. closed paywalled generation is used to have Snaps, FBs etc that are all moderated and closed sites. Coming from that mindset you would assume that not everybody is entitled to your content and you have a say who gets to see and interact with it.

Here’s an exhibit that sparked these thoughts 👇
