I've also never heard of this sync thing;). If there was more interest you could even start showing films in a sync-ed screening thru something like cytube, which has a chatroom. Would be great to have some sort of nostr version with nip extension login 🤔

I would love to do that! I just don't know much about technology or how nostr works. you on the other hand... ;)

sync is an alternative to dropbox/google photos because fuck corporations

Oh god, I probably know the least out of everyone here lol. Cytube (not a nostr thing) is fairly easy to use... sorta. It gets a bit fiddly with needing plugins for files hosted on eg Google drive.
