Someone tried to hand me a couple bucks for buying them a drink and I said I didn't want it. They insisted and I insisted if they wanted to give me value, to send sats. I do not want USD.

Did they send sats or just look at you like you were a crazy person?
He's actually a co worker. At first he thought I was just being nice. But I talk about Bitcoin all the time so when I said I don't want it, I could watch his brain go through the motions of not only did I not want repayment for the drink, I actually didn't want to hold USD but would accept Bitcoin.
I think someone having a realization that another person denied to take USD in favor of other money because they believe it to be more fair and honest, is a real eye opener. But a slow one.
