More alternatives, means more choice for the end user.

Let the users choose what they want as an experience, and make the necessary trade offs for what they judge necessary !

Personally, because it's not even really online yet and it's already the same Stalinist hellscape they are supposed to be an alternative for.

I do agree that in the end people will decide if they want to submit themselves to it.

But that doesn't mean we shouldn't criticize it -- on the contrary, we should let people know what they're getting into.
