Will you put it in a planter?
We have a couple of trees in the garden from this method. Well done. Good work 👏💯
Did you graft them or are you using them just for decoration?
They were grown from the seed of a store bought avocado. Grown using a similar method to the post here. Then when it grew to a small plant size I planted it in the garden. it has grown into a small tree already. Here is a photo,.please excuse to the bad light as it is taken at night. I recommend trying it yourself, very rewarding. 👍
For sure the idea of turning a seed into a tree is amazing. The reason why I'm asking is that the home grown avocados are essentially wild (they don't carry the same fruit characteristics) and will not produce "good" fruit unless grafted. It is totally fine if you want them just for decoration, but if you hope for fruit it needs to be done.
By growing them in water? Did you create interesting looking stems too?
It’s fun growing them at home on the windowsill :) maybe some day I can also harvest my own here in middle Europe :D 🤞🏼🥑
