If it was all in one wallet I think you would just have to sit on it. If you trusted anyone with the 12 words likely they would screw you.

High chance you would become a target if other found out but I reckon you could get protection from other inmates. If you are someone of stature in there, can provide protection at no cost why wouldn't you, no risk. Risk is they take try take it all when they get out.
