Jack was in Accra ( Ghana ) a few months ago. If you get here, you'll see people flaunt every type of recent tech as long as it's some normie shit.

There are many crypto exchanges around, they seem unbothered. But where the fuck are the hardware wallets?! All I could see was one or two Ledger ads in a local online market and I'm certainly not going for it.

I've ordered a Jade wallet straight from #[0] website back in December. It's been 5 months now and I still don't have it in hands because UPS can't bring it to me without losing it ( twice they have ). Seems strange to me considering that UPS has offices where I am ( 5 exactly ).

Blockstream's solution is a refund and a suggestion to get the wallet from one of their resellers rather. I'm cool with it, but still waiting on this refund.

Message:

1. If your mission is to make hardware wallets to protect as many bitcoiners as possible, ship everywhere.

2. Crypto aware sellers and crypto businesses in Africa should promote and sell more hardware wallets than they actually do on the ground. If it's hard to find one in Accra, it might be impossible in most big cities of the continent.
