I feel some of the same concerns Peter expressed recently. We've been educat to decentralized and be trust less for so long this will be a hard change to take. By moving to smaller federations network effect is lost. This and having to move to more trust with a smaller pool of people is counter the general idea of crypto being huge pools of disinterested parties.
