I dont know, I use it all the time at work and my productivity has gone through the roof. Its mainly helped me spend less time on things that only a few months ago would eat up my time like typing up emails and consolidated search.

Im in sales so in addition to what I described above, I also use AI to run a daily training régimen with role plays in various kinds of real life scenarios.

What Im getting at is that AI will only advance further and soon enough many jobs will be threatened by it. We can all see that wave coming. So how can we get ahead of it?

Im not necessarily calling for corporate restrictions but if we made legislation treating AI in a similar way as corporations are treated as a legal entity but rather as a legal entity augmentation that can only be purchased by individuals similar to how education can only be purchased by individuals it might help stymie dramatic shifts in the economy.

Its the genesis of an idea not fully fleshed out yet. So I wanted to see where it could go.

touch typing would probably solve a lot of that as well for productivity, and it is cheaper in the long run

and covering up the problem by creating a system of handicaps is just going to continue to conceal the fact that people are coming out of schools less and less capable of thinking, the boom in AI is a bit like the boom in drugs like ozempic... because people are being drowned in bullshit, you need to create band-aids that "augment" the sick and weak to make them more like what was normal 20 years ago...

it's fine, if you accept this government solves every problem model but it's going to just help the collapse into Idiocracy accelerate
