question: once you've entered your nsec into a client, is it there forever? or can you logout/eradicate your data from said client somehow
you can wipe the client storage but the stuff on relays could be forever

The events on the relays are fine. But is the nsec stored anywhere if I logout or wipe the client storage?
it should be only in the app storage, to test if you wipe it you should be logged out, make sure its backed up
