maybe it should have been a module from the start, i'm on F2FS anyway though...
modules are part of the kernel too are they not? iirc it is decided during configuration whether to build into the binary or as module. it was a long time since i compiled my kernel.. 😅
never used bcachefs either but it is strange how quickly it was kicked out after being developed for almost a decade.
oh i meant an external/out-of-tree module, i don't really know eider though 😸
