I must say I am concerned that TV lawyers are too quick to dismiss an effort to take the Manhattan case to the U.S. Supreme Court. They seem resigned to a tyrannical legal system from which there is not return. They talk about NY appeals. They talk about the voters. I agree with both, of course, and have said so. But when it comes to developing a constitutional basis for petitioning the Supreme Court directly, for the very reasons the repeatedly articulate, they are AWOL, dismissive, etc. This is NOT how all lawyers, who are used to battling the hard-Left in court, think or believe. We know this enemy and we have fought them in court for decades. Of course, there is no guarantee the High Court would take up what is called a common law cert, but litigation is always unpredictable. If they take it up, there is not guarantee they would rule the right way, although I believe they would if they took it. These lawyers are mostly unfamiliar with this kind of legal battle and litigation and these various processes that conservative legal groups engage in. Meanwhile, the leftist lawyers are killing the country with no-holds-barred lawsuits, aka lawfare. We mustn't surrender, throw are arms in the air, and accept defeat. We must do all we can. The nation is at stake.
