Going to build this feed based on all interactions: likes, zaps, comments.

Comment-only interaction feeds might be interesting, but building the feed from like interactions would be good for lurkers.

Add to that letting me rank my follows 1-4 then we really have a true algorithm again but self made

1- follow but only show things my 3 ranked follows interact with

2- show me everything they post

3- show me everything they post and everything they interact with from my 1 ranked follows and above

4- show me everything they post and everything they interact with

This limits noise while also propogating signal where good accounts are more likely to be seen and propagated quickly

We call this the “favourites” feed internally and it’s on the roadmap. Basic idea is you can star profiles and that becomes a custom feed on its own.

This is going to be a game changer for me. Right now I have to open my favorite nostriches profiles manually once in a while to make sure I don't miss the good stuff.

yes its a very common pain point, it makes sense to build a very simple and minimal feature that solves it
