I don’t care if cross-posting my notes to “X” means I’ll lose all my followers there. I haven’t posted anything on it since last February. I’d say that place can go to hell, but it would be redundant. I only had 2400 followers after 15 years and now I have 7400 from just 1 year on the #Nostr.

Maybe a few of them will even give us a try. I promise we don’t bite! Well, maybe just a little. But it’s worth it. 😈

Serious question: why go back?

Long-term, to me, its very clear where to focus one's attention

I'left Twitter as of about a month leaving 8k followers

Product sales, sponsor revenue, all of it I left behind

Why?

Because building on someonelse's digital real estate is no longer necessary...

I’m not going back. Just cross-posting my notes there because some of them might see them.

Life is stressful over there. I love the queue nature of nostr. Scroll across time, not across stimulus. Want to see something specific? Search. Search for folks you follow, search others posts and replies, be engaged. Its more work but that means maybe you do something whether its content or otherwise. When its easy humans show they will doom all day.

Be mindful of how quickly it makes you feel certain ways with heaps of unsolicited content, and poof, you’ll realize where they went wrong and abandon it again.
