Oh damn yeah, just googled and it looks like the standard rule. Guess me and my friends have been playing wrong our whole lives 😂

😂 Yea bar rules can vary wildly which is what I have been used tom most of my life. If you you make the 8 AND scratch that's an auto loss.

Yes...sort of. From my understanding there is at least one break that increases the probability of making the 8. It is a high risk/high reward break. It still doesn't happen often once you've got the break down but there are arguably other benifits to this break as well.
