I picked up #meditation because I noticed every discipline uses breathing regulation to achieve certain specific state.

Skydiving … control your breathing to remain calm in the face of “death”.

Scuba Diving … control your breathing so you use oxygen more efficiently

Martial Arts … you’re breathing gives your

moves away & it’s the throttle to your gas tank

Etc etc etc … it’s constant

Regulation of your system relies on a certain level on breathing … and meditation has been around for over 2000+ dealing exactly with that …

So true!

I need to make meditation part of my daily routine just like lifting weights or eating steak.

It’s so hard but so useful.
