Is it safe to use Tailscale on an unknown WiFi? Is Tails securing my connection?

It’s a private connection. Only someone linked to your Tailscale account can access what you’re accessing via Tailscale. I don’t think it has any effect on “hiding one’s IP” though but I could be wrong
