Asking questions is a very effective way of making a point and pointing out contradictions (and stupidity). But, more importantly, it protects you by giving you cover and plausible deniability. You don't want to be a victim of "kill the messenger." You are just a person asking questions. By asking questions and, more specifically, asking leading questions, you can help people come up with the answers on their own. If you say it, they will doubt it. If they say it, it's the truth.
