You can get away with that for a couple years probably, and transfer all your fiat to Bitcoin. But once they catch you, they can seize your bank accounts and garnish your wages for back taxes and penalties.

They can shut down businesses, close and confiscate bank accounts, arrest people, seize property. You think governments are powerless?

Taxes pay the salaries of people who do the enforcing; those people aren't siding with you, sorry.
