Q: am I not seeing the zap icon on my own posts because self-zapping would be silly and Damus is saving us from ourselves, or have I just not set this thing up right?

Dont use ln invoice (lnbc...) But an ln address (looks like an email address)

On mine? Mine should be something like a12237@ln.tips.. Get something like that that on your profile so you can get zapped. Ln.tips or #[4] have a free ln adress for you.⚡⚡⚡
