can someone explain to me why AI in the US needs gov’t help? as someone who mills around sillycon valley VCs have been dumping money into it such that it seemed like every company raising just threw the word “AI” into their pitch, literally billions, hundreds of billions invested in these AI companies, and you’re telling me they STILL GOT SCHOOLED such that they need gov’t welfare and/or podiums to build data centers? the math ain’t mathing…this looks like another Cold War construct funny money funnelers…now China is the “enemy,” Ray Dalio making media rounds when he was all in on China and for all we know these very same folks sold US land and debt to China…so…they bought it fair & square! Don’t complain to me about China stealing IP when you GAVE THEM THE IP when you MOVED YOUR FACTORIES TO CHINA. What did you expect? You gave them the blueprints.
