No to be pessimistic, but pallet wood ain't gonna hold up in the elements unless you got some really high quality pallets. Hopefully this is just a temporary solution?

Yes, but the pallets don't do well with sun exposure
they're mostly shaded and I live in the desert.
these will last as long as I need them to
