The only weight loss thing that has ever worked for me is OMAD. In the past couple weeks I've been doing 10k daily walks with one meal a day (9oz steak) and I've already lost 8 lbs.
Turns out less calories in = less weight. shocking. you only have to deal with a slight feeling of hunger for 2-4 hours every day, but in the fiat food era this is unacceptable for most people.
Have you tried keto? It works well with OMAD

Could never maintain that state for very long
If you’re only eating steak wouldn’t you be in ketosis?
no I eat other stuff with it
