I just discovered by accident that DMM Bitcoin (regulated bitcoin exchange in Japan) only allows withdrawals to legacy addresses.

It's been SIX years since segwit was implemented.

Get with the program exchanges!

They won't. BTW are there any exchanges in Japan support LN withdrawals? Because we don't in S.Korea.

No lightning yet.

There is one exchange that is done with the stack and ready to go live but hasn't done so yet due to issues with FATF compliance.

That's what I heard.

Binance already has a Japan Lightning Node so they might be the first to implement.

Well Japan Binance could work then.

How do you guys stack sats?

Yen -> BTC -> withdraw works?

or Yen -> USDT -> BTC -> withdraw?
