Youtube isn’t interesting to me anymore. People are paid by advertisers who don’t care about quality content. They only care about number of views. That has resulted in every paid YouTuber using every trick in the book to get more views. Misleading sensational thumbnails and titles are basically click bait for videos where they ramble for 10 minutes to convey a point that could be expressed in 10 seconds. I used to get paid for my YouTube videos and I was so excited to make a tiny bit of money. Look at what it’s grown into. I think Nostr is different. It’s better because content providers are paid directly and instantly by the content consumers. The potential is hire in my opinion.

I think: The consumers don‘t want to pay for content at all.
That is the reason why the ads-model is in use by everyone in first place.
Lets see, I hope that you are right but realistically I can‘t see that happening with the mindset of the mainstream.
