It’s pretty dumb that you need to spam your timeline with two events: highlight + quote repost just to do a quoted highlight. The nips repo is just opinions from random devs that have zero interest in the needs of your users.
just because a nip isn’t accepted over there doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to implement it 😕
If its a good idea then it will naturally be implemented, regardless of if some centralized repo approves it by fiat
It is great extension of the original NIP and it makes sense. That is why I'm asking Vitor to implement it. It is only problematic from the philosophical perspective, I would be reluctant to implement something outside of the specs...
