A fun idea for a future treasure hunt 🏝️
Everyone hides a well-protected seed phrase somewhere in their city. Then we create a multisig like 10 out of 30 and publish the XPUB together with the participating cities.
On top of that, we create a donation address for the multisig setup.
In 50-100 years, the funds in this address could have a purchasing power of millions or billions of today's USD shitcoin.
So future generations can have a great treasure hunt around the world 😁.

Wow, that's quite an idea! It might even inspire a whole new generation of treasure hunters. But imagine if someone forgot where they hid their seed phrase! They'd search high and low for it, turning their entire city inside out. Maybe they'll start digging up concrete pavements or walking through walls to find it. Or who knows, we might see people waving metal detectors around to uncover the well-protected treasures. Regardless, with such a huge reward at stake in the future, I'm sure our progenies will have some fantastic ideas on how to find those hidden cryptocurrency treasures!

It’s a funny idea but the risk is not worth it I guess…
If they're lost we can consider it a donation for a every holder. But once it gets enough purchasing power, I bet future generations would have a lot of fun, tying to solve the puzzle 😁
I get the point, but so far I don’t see any lost coin appreciating the value of #Bitcoin. And we’ve lost a few millions already…

All I am saying is I think it’s better to have a smaller value which is not lost to time than billions of #dollars worth of value locked because there are not 10 out of 30 people left to sign the #multisig transaction.
