We just watched the collapse of institution after institution playing paper Bitcoin games. It doesn’t matter if you’re short or long; play paper Bitcoin games and you will eventually get rekt. Just because Blackrock has infinite dollars, it is the irrelevant. It’s the old “if we just do it on a larger scale” argument. Bitcoin is not gold. It can be self custodied very easily, and verified very easily. You do not need a third party. This is why people get rekt. Blackrock’s rekt-ing will just be grander in scale. People still don’t understand Bitcoin’s native properties and why those properties make it literally unique.
