Code is hard to write, so this seems pretty intentional. Kind 0 changing your lightning address, without permission. Hopefully it changes. But I won’t use it.

Hello there, glad to hear your concerns. We encountered an issue like this before, due to the fact we simplify wallet linking for new created account or through a pop up only when creating a new wallet. Rest assure we are doing this intentionally in any means. However, it seems that we will switch for manual linking for newly created users also. May I know did you use the mobile app exclusively or the web app also ? Thanks 🙏
